Falmouth after officially opening the first Falmouth Spring Flower Show.
Her opening remarks were fortunately the start of a long running tradition........
"It has afforded me the greatest pleasure to come here to-day to open this Spring
Flower Show, the first that has taken place, and I hope it will be followed by a great
many more successful ones. I should like at the same time to express my great
gratification at the kind welcome, of which I shall carry away the pleasant memories."
Help required - We are trying to put together a display of
memorabilia relating to the show and would appreciate any
material from, or relating to, earlier shows. Please contact
